あたらしいゲストが、わたしたちの家にやってきました。
A new guest has come to stay at our home.
アメリカから来た人で、日本にはじめて来たそうです。
They came from the United States, and it’s their first time in Japan.
Three Weeks in Japan
こんかいの たいざいは三週間と、少しみじかめです。
This time, their stay is a little short — just three weeks.
そのぶん、いろいろなことを ぎゅっとつめて、日本を楽しんでほしいです。
So we hope they can enjoy many experiences in a short time.
Welcome Dinner at Sushi Restaurant
わたしたちの家では、ゲストが来たとき回転寿司屋さんでウエルカムパーティをします。
When a new guest arrives, we have a welcome party at conveyor belt sushi restaurant.
おすしがまわってくるのが楽しくて、いつもみんなでわくわくします。
Watching the sushi come around is fun, and everyone gets excited.
Hoping for a Great Stay
日本のくらしは、アメリカとちがうことがたくさんあります。
There are many things that are different from life in the U.S.
でも、このちがいを楽しんで、よい思い出をつくってくれたらうれしいです。
But I hope our guest enjoys those differences and makes great memories here.
Final Thoughts
三週間は あっというまかもしれませんが、いっしょに たのしくすごしたいと思います。
Three weeks may go by quickly, but I want us to enjoy every moment together.
